mission

Connecting the LGBTQ community and its allies through fundraising and awareness events; and promoting equality through sailing.

About Us

Rainbow Regatta Chicago

Is a casual sailboat regatta that is governed by US Sailing rules and regulations, and will follow PHRF ratings. It is open to all sailors and  encourages those interested in sailing to join. It aims to be a fun evening on the water that builds friendships, encourages equality, and has a vibrant after party.

We will be donating proceeds from the race to the following organizations:

Rainbow Railroad - "Helps LGBT people escape state-sponsored violence."

Chicago House - "Serves individuals and families who are disenfranchised by HIV/AIDS, LGBTQ marginalization, poverty, homelessness, and/or gender nonconformity by providing housing, employment services, medical linkage and retention services, HIV prevention services, legal services, and other supportive programs."
